“Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.” Job 8:7 NKJV
This is a message to the body of Christ: What you see around you is not your inheritance in Christ. It is not your reality, it is not for you to submit to, and it is not your destiny. Jesus is greater, His promises are better, and your deliverance and blessing has already been paid for. Whatever you have known is not what you will know, and whatever you have seen is not what you will see. Your days are blessed and your latter is abundantly greater than your former. It is time for us to believe and speak what The Word says and not what the world around us beckons us to relinquish ourselves to. God is faithful to perform His Word. It is time to climb up the latter.
1. No to the Same Old
““For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”” Haggai 2:6-9 NKJV
“But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.” Hebrews 8:6 NKJV
You are in Christ. Your reality has changed and all things have become new. The good old days are a lie and you are no longer bound to a time when you were happy. Your marriage is blessed. Your calling and gifts are given to you by God and therefore are irrevocable. Your children are blessed. Your finances are blessed. You are no longer subject to the same old. The only power the same old has in your life is what you give it. Speak life and life more abundantly and live life and life more abundantly. The same old is broken and defeated in Jesus name.
2. Yes to the Brand New
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].” 2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP
Your portion has changed. Sinner is no longer your name and sin is no longer your game. You are born again into the family of God and are awakened by the splendor of His love. Your mornings are no longer your mourning. His mercies are new, and all things are possible through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. The lie that the same old same old will never change was defeated at the cross. The truth reigns in your life, and you are victorious over fear according to grace by faith. You can and will become all that He made you to be. It is time to choose Brand New.
3. Given to, Given through
“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalms 103:1-5 NKJV
It is time for the church to come alive to revival, understanding that God has freely given to us that we would freely give. We are forgiven, so we preach forgiveness in Christ Jesus. We are healed, so we lay hands on the sick that they would recover. We have been redeemed, so we speak redemption from the path to destruction. We have been crowned with the everlasting love of Abba Father God and given mercies that are new daily, so we wear our witness so that they will be drawn by His loving kindness. He has given us all good things freely so that our youth is renewed, that we might live abundant life as a testimony of the goodness of God and His unmerited favor.
Go Boldly,
