What is the reason why we can fly so high
Your grace, alone from the throne, your grace
Through Jesus…He’s just…everything and every thing
We need and want and desire cause we get higher in the Son, my sire, Messiah
Walk through the muck and mire, talk to debunk the liar
My God in me is greater, authority in the name of my Savior
Now or later, I can spit the Word, cause His Word is in me
Get His Word into the inner me and you as His kids to breathe The Truth
This one today goes out to the ones who need to fly
God’s grace is yours in Christ, so multiply your wings and face the sky, embrace and rise.
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” II Corinthians 9:8 NKJV
Abound in the Greek means to superabound (in quantity or quality), be in excess, be superfluous ; also (transitively) to cause to superabound or excel: - (make, more) abound, (have, have more) abundance, (be more) abundant, be the better, enough and to spare, exceed, excel, increase, be left, redound, remain (over and above).
1. If we desire to have the grace to fly above the trials in this world, we must receive who Grace is. He is Jesus.
“For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.” Titus 2:11 AMP
“For the Law was given through Moses, but grace [the unearned, undeserved favor of God] and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God [His essence, His divine nature] at any time; the [One and] only begotten God [that is, the unique Son] who is in the intimate presence of the Father, He has explained Him [and interpreted and revealed the awesome wonder of the Father].” John 1:17-18 AMP
2. Because the grace of God expressed to us is Jesus, in Him, our destiny is to overcome. Our DNA (dead no-longer, alive) says we can fly.
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]” John 16:33 AMP
“Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God.” 1 John 5:5 AMP
If we are going to operate in the grace to fly above the world…overcoming every distress and tribulation that comes our way…we must be submitted to God’s will that we are over-comers. If the devil can convince a child of God that he or she is underneath and not above, he can silence the testimony of abundant life in us. Tell him he’s a liar…and overcome.
3. His grace has already been provided to us. The ability to fly is already ours. The practical application however is up to us. It is in His Grace, but our belief and action that we overcome.
“One of the men in the crowd spoke up and said, “Teacher, I brought my son so you could heal him. He is possessed by an evil spirit that won’t let him talk. And whenever this spirit seizes him, it throws him violently to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast out the evil spirit, but they couldn’t do it.” Jesus said to them, “You faithless people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.” So they brought the boy. But when the evil spirit saw Jesus, it threw the child into a violent convulsion, and he fell to the ground, writhing and foaming at the mouth. “How long has this been happening?” Jesus asked the boy’s father. He replied, “Since he was a little boy. The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.” “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, he rebuked the evil spirit. “Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak,” he said. “I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!” Then the spirit screamed and threw the boy into another violent convulsion and left him. The boy appeared to be dead. A murmur ran through the crowd as people said, “He’s dead.” But Jesus took him by the hand and helped him to his feet, and he stood up.” Mark 9:17-27 NLT
It is God’s power, but our belief that practically makes it possible to overcome in our lives. Our belief and corresponding actions, or our agreement with God’s will expressed in His word, will produce in the natural what has already been provided for in the spiritual. We can fly because He’s given us the grace to fly. Born again children of God have no need to beg God any more. We just need to thank Him and fly.
Go Boldly,
