The Provision Promise

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:19 NKJV

  1. God = Source

“You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.”

Psalms 145:16 NKJV

  1. Shall Supply All Your Need = Promise

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”

II Corinthians 1:20 NKJV

  1. His Riches = Everlasting Supply

Riches in the Greek is Ploutos

Riches, wealth, abundance of external possessions.

CONTEXT

“Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only.”

Philippians 4:15 NKJV

In Christ Jesus, your giving is never greater than your receiving.  When we say yes to God in our giving, He says abundance to us in our receiving.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”

III John 1:2

Prosper in the Greek is Euodoo

Prosper, be successful.

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

II Corinthians 9:8 NKJV

Sufficiency in the Greek is autarkeia

A perfect condition of life in which no aid or support is needed.

God’s sufficiency is our abundance.  His grace didn’t end at salvation.  It is our provision promise.
